Welcome to PACS

Parents' Association of The Craig School

We work collaboratively with the faculty and administration of Craig and aspire to keep our parents connected and involved — striving for 100% participation and membership this year.

Our Mission
  • Establish and maintain open communication among parents, the school, and administration of The Craig School.
  • Provide services and activities beyond academic requirements that give the school vitality and a sense of community.

A Letter from the PACS Board

Welcome back, and a very special welcome to all families who are new to The Craig School!

Along with this letter, you will find the PACS Dues forms. These contributions are the primary ways families support PACS and help us continue the events, celebrations, and traditions that make the Craig community so special.

    What Is PACS?

PACS, the Parent Association of The Craig School, works to strengthen the connection among our families, faculty, staff, and school community. Throughout the year, PACS sponsors and supports faculty breakfasts and lunches, family and community events, student celebrations, Teacher Appreciation Week, the Book Fair, the eighth-grade brunch, and other programs at both campuses.

Supporting PACS: Annual Dues and Holiday Gift

Unlike many parent associations, PACS does very little traditional fundraising. We do not want families to feel that they are constantly being asked to sell or purchase something throughout the year. Instead, we rely primarily on the suggested annual PACS dues of $100 per student to fund our programs and events.

"Dues" is simply the term we use for this suggested annual contribution. It does not provide exclusive membership or benefits. Because we hold very few additional fundraisers, every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

The PACS Holiday Gift provides families with a convenient and meaningful way to thank Craig's wonderful faculty and staff during the holiday season. The suggested contribution is $100 per student, although participation and contribution amounts are entirely optional. PACS combines the contributions into one collective holiday gift from Craig families, allowing us to recognize the entire faculty and staff while saving families the time and expense of purchasing separate gifts.

    We Would Love Your Help!

PACS is run entirely by parent volunteers, and there are many ways to become involved—whether you can join the board, help with one event, contribute an idea, shop for supplies, set up food, or simply lend a hand when your schedule permits. No amount of help is too small, and no one is ever expected to do more than they can.

Please take a moment to review the attached PACS dues forms. If you are interested in joining the PACS Board, volunteering, or learning more, please contact us at pacs@craigschool.org

We look forward to a wonderful year filled with connection, celebration, and Craig School spirit!

    Warmly,

    The PACS Board
